Lacuna Coil New Orleans Concert reviews
Josh Turner was disappointing
I have seen both Darius Rucker and Sugarland there, for example - and still remember every moment of both concerts. I was eager to witness Lacuna Coil - my initial concert of hers at Best Buy Theater, which is a fantastic venue for a "get to know you experience". He had no one opening for him, so I anticipated a wonderful night with ample time to get to know him. Unfortunately, he began more than 45 minutes late, providing no information about himself or his band. My friend and I were unaware that his wife was part of the band. I realized this from the background images, which he overlooked, almost missing it because the band introduction was vague, only mentioning his wife. There was minimal interaction with the crowd during the show. He barely performed for an hour - I was at the Port Authority bus station by 10:05pm. I could have just listened to my CDs and gotten the same experience. I would never attend his concert again - and would advise others not to waste their money.
